Audition

We are excited to welcome current and new members to our Season Eleven competitive teams. We plan to have 4 core teams, 3 hip hop crews, 2 tap teams, and our new True (Blue)* opportunity to accommodate dancers ages 5-17. Dancers who audition are evaluated and, if successful, will be placed on a team that best suits their age, experience, and skill level.

*True (Blue) is an extension of our core programming offered to select dancers for additional training, choreography, and performances. True dancers will compete with 2 group routines in jazz and lyrical or contemporary.

COMPETITIVE TEAM AUDITION

This season, we are hosting our auditions in person on Tuesday, June 9th. The audition will consist of a quick warm up and a combo where they will be challenged to pick up choreography and show off their performance skills.

CALL TIMES

Select call times based on dancer's current age. If a dancer falls into two age groups, they can choose to attend both audition times or select the older of the two options.

4-4:45pm Core (ages 5-8)

5-5:45pm Hip Hop (ages 5-12)

6-6:45pm Core (ages 8-12)

7-7:45pm Core (ages 12-17) - Studio A
7-7:30pm Tap (ages 6-12) - Studio B

8-8:45pm Hip Hop (ages 10-17)

DRESS CODE

For our Core auditions, dancers are to wear all black dance wear with their hair in a ponytail or bun. Jazz shoes or half soles are encouraged. For Hip Hop Crew auditions, dancers should wear comfortable street clothes, indoor sneakers and hair should be pulled back off of their face. For Tap auditions, dancers should wear all black dance wear with their hair in a ponytail or bun and tap shoes.

All dancers planning to attend the auditions must register in advance. Current and new members must attend the audition to be considered for a competitive team placement. Please submit the form below to register for the audition.

Results from the audition will be sent out via email on Thursday, June 11th.
